It's been a while once again....
I tell you people, how do some people have so much time to blog? I certainly will never bore you with the minutiae of my life nor will I tag you or tell you what Muppet character I am, but I will tell you my home is fairly under control and my imperfect children are fairly well educated and financially we're doing just fine, thank you very much.
Vent for the day: People who lie to your face. We have 2 instances of men with whom we are conducting financial dealings. One promised us a coin delivered overnight.....say......2 weeks ago....no way was it to arrive after March 20th. Today is well...hmmm.March 28th. Not only do we not have the coin, but they haven't let us know if/when it was shipped or if/when it will arrive. Funny thing is, on their web site they have all sorts of nasty messages about how when you sell to them, if you don't follow a, b, c and z they will NEVER do business with you again. Good grief. I would just like my coin, darn it. Funny thing is, when buying precious metals we have had more problems with big name companies. We had 1 tiny problem with a person on ebay. Otherwise, thanks to their feedback system, we have made multiple purchases that have gone off without a hitch. Go ebay.
The 2nd is a land developer. He's a very nice guy. I want to like him, because he seems sincere and likeable. BUT, he's not a very good communicator. He promised to stop by with a check, say.....2 weeks ago. I actually entered into our ledger, against dh's better judgment. Boy, do I hate being wrong......still no check.......and, thanks to inflation, it's worth less every day. Why not just call and say, "I know I told you one thing, but something came up". Remember, presentation is everything and all profit is in the margin.
