Hi! I am a happily married woman with 9 children. Dh and I both have a very strong world view which governs what we do and why we do it. For the life of me, I cannot understand why most people have no sense of world view or duty...I hope to both inspire and poke the readers into choosing a Christian world view which will impact EVERY area of their life and will make a difference in eternity!

I am so struggling with anger.......

I have become so weary in well-doing that my atitude really rots. Why? Because I cannot abide fools living in luxury. I'm linking to this article with hopes of writing more later.

So.........Walmart has to give everyone a one time free shop-lifting extravaganza because it costs too much money to prosecute the criminals. So.......all you Christian-liberals-who-support-illegal-immigration.........show me what an honest person you are and go steal a candy bar.........after all...you are not going to be prosecuted. WAIT! You're not going to do it.......why? because stealing is wrong? REALLY? You actually think shoplifting is wrong because it violates a commandment that states THOU SHALT NOT STEAL? You're kidding me, right? You're actually taking the moral high ground. This is WalMart we're talking here. They can absorb the loss........in fact they've taken it into their bottom line when they compiled this policy. They know people are going to steal, so they've decided everyone gets a chance to get caught once. This is your chance.

Oh, I'm sorry.....we agree that it's wrong to steal a candy bar from WalMart, because even if Wal Mart is choosing not to prosecute (think Durham, a safe haven city for illegal immigrants) first-time offenders if the item in question is under $25, it is a violation of the law, and as Christians we need to obey the civil laws. Thanks for explaining that to me. You see, I was confused . I thought that the reason y'all think illegal immigration (or labor to the lowest bidder) is okay is because if you live in a safe haven city and you won't get prosecuted for hiring illegal immigrants that makes it okay, even if you technically are still in violation of the law, because after all, those laws are cruel to the poor unfortunate souls who were born in Mexico. I guess helping people to become law-abiding citizens (by encouraging them to return to their country of origin and then returning in a legal manner) is not on your list of things to do. Not when you have a business to run, and if these people actually were to be paid a living wage, then you would not be able to stay in business. Ah.........I get it. You take the moral high ground when it benefits you and abandon it when the going gets tough.

Well.......

one reason I never posted much is because this site took forever. I was guessing it was our computer and I was right (I usually am). We got a new computer with Windows XP and whatdaya know.........much faster. I look forward to more blogging (although, again, no one really reads it)...

Blogging reminds me of what it says in Ecclesiastes 12:12:
Furthermore, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Everyone it seems has something to say and is interested in saying it. I just sigh......and try to maintain control of my small world. It is hot...not as hot as it has been, but hot enough. I dislike summer and am looking forward to getting back into our routine.

That's it for now. Not to say that I am THAT wise....but have you ever noticed that the stupider someone is, the happier they seem to be?
